red sauce—wiped off my smirk

and I—be silently labeled as part of a sector of women

you call “clean”

my spaghetti—twirled

another bite-size hot-dog—forked

I watched it disappear from your mouth, wondering

how many more bigoted tongues

live inside unsuspecting
